Giving Hope Shield

Please visit our News Release Page for the latest updates and resources available.

These are days in which, if we are not careful, fear can take hold of our lives.  Please know that while we cannot physically meet in our church building, Winterberry Heights is a mobilized Church, and we want to be there to help with the needs of our community.

If you need someone to talk to or pray with you, please contact us through our prayer ministry contact, or email us at info@winterberryheights.com, and we will connect with you.

May you find these words from Isaiah a source of comfort:

“So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you.  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
– Isaiah 41:10

We will pray for you

Dear friends,

Due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, Salvation Army congregations will not be meeting in corps buildings for worship until after April 30 at the earliest. However, we still want to encourage the virtual gathering together of Salvationists for worship.

Join us each Sunday, at 9 a.m. EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) as we are led in online worship by our Territorial Leadership Team. The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters will be broadcasting a worship service on www.salvationist.ca and Salvationist social media channels:

www.facebook.com/salvationistmagazine

www.twitter.com/salvationist

www.youtube.com/salvationistmagazine

The service will also feature praise and worship led by the Music and Gospel Arts Department. We want to encourage everyone to continue to find ways to connect in order to foster community. Even though we are separated physically, we can still worship together!

God bless you.

Upcoming Events

In the times that we are living in, where services and programs are being postponed or cancelled, we try to find creative ways to stay connected with each other.  Church buildings may be closed, but the Church is still alive - a vibrant and living testimony to the power of a loving God, who holds us each in the palm of His hand.

We invite you to watch this space for links to services, devotionals, and prayer guides to help us keep connected through this time.

Please visit our Bible Study Page to download guided meditations, as well as a new men's bible study which has just started.

Our Women's Ministries page has several programs and devotionals that are easily accessible.

You can also find encouragement by checking out our Inspirational Thoughts page.

If you are looking for an Online Worship Service, join us each Sunday at www.salvationist.ca/Sunday for Worship led by our Territorial leadership team.

May God bless you.
